Online Program
Dates: May 23, 2024 - May 26, 2024

Instructor(s): bruni dávila

Course Navigation

Program Description:
Share

A silent insight (vipassana) retreat for the LGBTQIA+ community. This is an opportunity to come together in the safety of beloved community, embracing all of ourselves, as we cultivate the wholesome and loving qualities of our hearts and minds.

We will start with meditation practices to cultivate an embodied and kind presence, and to gather/stabilize attention. Then as a momentum of awareness is cultivated, we could be more receptive to allow and contemplate whatever experience is obvious for us in the present moment. There will be alternating sitting and walking meditation, instruction, dharma talks and questions/responses with the teacher.

Experience Level:
Suitable for beginning and experienced practitioners.

Prerequisites:

This is an affinity program for individuals who self-identify as LGBTQIA+; in order to cultivate a safe and spacious container for exploration, reflection, and practice, all participants must self-identify as LGBTQIA+.
