Unconditional love for all beings is the expression of the free heart.
Join devon hase and Rachel Hammerman for a weekend of cultivating a heart as wide as the world using the Brahma Viharas in relational meditation practices.
Together, we’ll journey beyond the classical individual practices for developing a boundless heart filled with loving kindness, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity. We’ll bring these four inherent and immeasurable flavors of love directly into the relational field with relational meditation practices such as Insight Dialogue, Dhamma Contemplation, partner inquiry, and RAIN (Recognize, Allow, Inquire, and Nurture).
“Brahma” is sometimes translated as “best or sublime” and “Vihara” is sometimes translated as “abiding” or “home.” Through these heart practices, we can cultivate a heart that is free of fear, hatred, and ill-will. Cultivating these four heart qualities in relationship with other beings amplifies the deepening of meditative qualities and dhamma wisdom that frees the heart.
