The Miracle of Mindfulness: An Online Course for New Practitioners

This introductory program will help new practitioners cultivate their mindfulness practice, in addition to helping experienced practitioners refresh their practice in the new year.

Meditation and spiritual practice are invitations to cultivate a kind heart. We hope you can join us as we offer short teachings on mindfulness and the practice of meditation. Each week we will practice several forms of meditation and explore different meditation postures. The Buddha was clear that we can sit, stand, walk, lie down, and eat with our practice and we will do all of these.

Meditation practice can be integrated into daily life. In each session we will practice eating meditation together, and we invite you to bring a snack and something to drink to the Zoom meetings.

Each session we will have short teachings on meditation as well as several different practices. We will be there every step of the way to support your practice. The themes we will explore are: the miracle of mindfulness, meditation 101, relaxation techniques, and how to nourish one’s practice. Practicing meditation is a very beautiful habit.
