A New Tractor Joins the BCBS Team

There’s a new arrival on the BCBS campus—and it’s already hard at work! We recently took delivery of a lightly used Kubota B2650 tractor equipped with a bucket, brush mower, and snowblower attachments. This welcome addition will save our facilities team significant time and effort as they maintain and care for our beautiful grounds year-round.

Our Facilities Manager, Brett, has been busy keeping BCBS running smoothly with projects large and small—from installing new gutters and railings to repairing walkways, cleaning the Dharma Hall mini-splits, and servicing the farmhouse boilers. The new tractor adds both excitement and efficiency to the mix, helping us care for this refuge we all share.

But this hard-working tractor needs a name! We invite you to join in the fun—reply to this newsletter and share your suggested name for the newest member of the BCBS family. We can’t wait to hear your ideas.

Join the Fun—We’re Hiring!

BCBS is seeking a Facilities Worker to assist Brett with the maintenance and repair of our campus buildings and grounds. This is a 15-hour/week contractor position (Friday–Sunday, 7 AM – 12 PM) based in Barre, MA. Tasks include light carpentry, groundskeeping, brush clearing, snow removal, and general maintenance.

If you—or someone you know—has at least five years of experience in facilities work and would enjoy contributing to the care of this beautiful campus, we’d love to hear from you.
