Pascal Auclair Reflects on Practice, Belonging, and Queer Community
In honor of Pride Month, we are sharing a 2022 interview with Pascal Auclair on spiritual liberation, social liberation, and practice in queer community.
In this conversation, Pascal reflects on the safety and relief many people feel when practicing in LGBTQIA+ spaces, and on the ways Buddhist practice can help us see more clearly into the conditioning that shapes how we relate to ourselves and one another. He also speaks movingly about the Dharma as both an inner refuge and a deeply relational practice.
This offering reflects BCBS’s commitment to being A Spiritual Home and Resource for All. As a Buddhist study center, we continue to ask how study and practice can deepen understanding, widen our sense of community, and help us respond to one another with greater wisdom and compassion.
LGBTQIA+ Survey
At BCBS, we are committed to being A Spiritual Home and Resource for All. LGBTQIA+ practitioners are a vital part of our sangha, and we want BCBS to be a place where you feel respected, supported, and at home. We also know that living into this aspiration is ongoing work.
As part of that work, we warmly invite you to share your reflections through a brief survey. Your feedback will help us continue making BCBS more welcoming and accessible.
