Immersive Online Programs take place through videoconferencing for 2-3 months and offer convenient access to Buddhist study, practice, and spiritual community worldwide.

By providing an ongoing relationship with a consistent cohort of participants and teachers over time, our Immersive Online Programs foster deep practice and study in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Exploring the Riches of the Pali Canon: Text, Tradition, and Practice

An online study and practice program guided by Ying Chen, Diana Clark, Kim Allen, and David Lorey.

In this immersive online program, we will approach the Pali Canon not only as ancient Buddhist literature, but as a living resource for understanding, reflection, and practice. We’ll explore the three baskets of the Canon, with special attention to the suttas, the discourses attributed to the Buddha and his disciples, while also briefly introducing the Vinaya, Abhidhamma, and later commentaries.

Foundations of a Soulmaking Dharma: Re-evaluating Emptiness, Imagination, Sacredness and Desire

An online study and practice program guided by Catherine McGee and Yahel Avigur.

Rooted in the Buddha’s teaching of emptiness, ethics and meditative training, Soulmaking Dharma is a rich and resonant contemporary flowering of the Dharma. Soulmaking Dharma teachings rest upon practices of samatha, metta, emptiness, and the emotional/energy body.

Mindfulness of Breathing

An online study and practice program guided by the teachings of Bhikkhu Anālayo.

Mindfulness of Breathing is an eight-week, focused study on the sixteen steps of the Ānāpānasati-sutta. This program builds on the practice, particularly of the awakening factors, developed in the first program on Satipatthāna Meditation.

Brahmavihāras and Emptiness

An online study and practice program guided by the teachings of Bhikkhu Anālayo.

Building on the practices developed in both the Satipatthāna Meditation and Mindfulness of Breathing programs offered by BCBS, Brahmavihāras and Emptiness offers eight weeks of focused study and practice guided by the teachings of renowned scholar and monastic, Bhikkhu Anālayo.

Satipaṭṭhāna Meditation

An online study and practice program guided by the teachings of Bhikkhu Anālayo.

Satipatthāna Meditation is an intensive nine-weeks of practice and focused study on the liberating teachings of the Satipatthāna sutta, a foundational early Buddhist teaching.

Seeing That Frees: Exploring Emptiness

An online study and practice program guided by Yahel Avigur.

Grounded in Rob Burbea’s teachings on Emptiness, this path follows meditative experiments that free the mind in the moment and reveal the Empty, magical nature of all appearances — a direct, experiential exploration of the constructed nature of self and world.
