Welcoming a New Baby Yogi
Laughter filled the BCBS Farmhouse recently as staff and volunteers gathered to celebrate April Pellegrino Gustafson and her growing family at a baby shower hosted on campus.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a tiny turquoise baby onesie made especially for April’s soon-to-arrive baby. The custom BCBS onesies feature the phrase “Baby Yogi” alongside a lotus design and BCBS logo.

While “Baby Yogi” was the final choice, there were several strong contenders, including “Perfectly Present,” “Future Yogi,” “Savasana Expert,” “Not Crying… Just Chanting,” and “Not Napping… Awakening.”
The afternoon was a sweet reminder that community at BCBS extends far beyond the Dharma Hall. Alongside meditation, study, and retreat practice, there is also friendship, care, generosity, and the joy of celebrating important moments in one another’s lives.
The onesies were such a hit that we decided to share them with the wider BCBS community.
If you or someone you know in the BCBS community is expecting a baby, we would be delighted to send a complimentary BCBS onesie as a small expression of our love, joy, and support. We would also love to feature photos of little ones wearing their BCBS onesies in future editions of the BCBS Sangha News so we can celebrate these moments together as a community.
If a new baby is arriving in your family or circle, please feel free to reach out to us. We would be happy to celebrate with you.
