Andrew Domzal is a scholar and teacher—most recently in the Department of Philosophy at Pennsylvania State University—whose work primarily focuses on philosophy of race and environmental philosophy. He is particularly interested in critical perspectives on Western concepts of being, categorization, and the more-than-human. Andrew loves teaching and learning and believes the two are always bound up in one another. He first started exploring the trails and forests around the Edelglass Homestead more than a decade ago when he was a student at Marlboro College. Hiking, camping, and accumulating wilderness skills are ongoing passions. He is excited to join a close community of teachers and learners for the Touching the Earth retreat.
Deepening Practice,
Building Community.
