This invitational program is a time for the Nagas (formerly the CDL reunion group together with the Nalanda group plus new friends), to gather to practice, learn, and deepen their relationships. In the mornings, Carol Wilson will lead practice from the lineage of Sayadaw U Tejaniya. Carol will guide us into the U Tejaniya style that emphasizes natural awareness and relaxed, mindful attention that resonates in some ways with the Dzogchen practice the Nagas explored with Anne Klein in spring 2024. Each morning will include several hours of teaching and practice plus a half hour of question and reflection time for both specific questions about meditation or U Tejaniya as well as broader questions relating to being on the Buddhist path for many years and as an elder.
For three afternoons, Joseph Goldstein will provide teachings, lead meditation, and have time for questions and reflection. Again, we will be able to explore questions of practicing as an elder and reflect together on what it is like now after many years on the path. William Edelglass will hold the evenings when there will be time to reflect in small groups and practice together in silence, as well as offer some teaching.
Because this is an invitation-only program, please do not share the link to this page.
Program Format: This program will include guided and silent meditation, dharma talks, time for questions and reflection, small and large group discussion, silence, and some time for deepening relationships with others.
