Ayya Anopama is a Buddhist nun and teaches meditation and Insight Dialogue in English, Spanish and German across continents. She practiced several years in retreat in Myanmar where she ordained with the Venerable Pa Auk Sayadaw, and also studied with renowned teachers in the Early Buddhist, Tibetan Mahamudra and Insight Meditation traditions in both, East and West. A member of the Global Insight Dialogue Teaching Community and a student of Compassionate Inquiry (CI), she continues to explore how the Buddha’s teachings, contemporary healing, and relational approaches can meet as doorways for inner freedom.
