Zac Ispa-Landa

Zac Ispa-Landa is a Dharma teacher, father, beekeeper, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Vermont. He has studied and practiced Dharma for 20 years – both Vipassana (insight) meditation and Vajrayana Buddhism. His practice is animated by a vision of personal and collective awakening and supported by a wide range of teachings and techniques. 

At the University of Vermont, he teaches courses on ecology, honey bee culture, environmental justice, mindfulness and the Anthropocene, and sustainability. Beyond the University, he is a founder and lead teacher of the Burlington Dharma Collective and teaches at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, Inward Bound Mindfulness, Bhumisparsha, and elsewhere.

Zac lives in Winooski, Vermont, with his partner, son, and tens of thousands of honey bees.
