An Experimental International Retreat within the Non-Dual Embrace of Noble Silence and Dialogue
This retreat will be a deep dive into who we are and how we carry ourselves as human beings, and into the practice of mindfulness in all its various expressions. The intention is to bathe in, investigate, and share our unique and not-so-unique “karmic assignments” in the mindfulness world as well as the opportunities and challenges that this particular era presents —- as we practice together and keep to a rigorous schedule blending silent practice with dialogue.
Many questions present themselves at this juncture. What now? And what next? In what ways might our practice need further nurturance and deepening, whatever that might mean, and how can we support each other in that regard? In what ways might our very being need nurturance? And in what ways can we recognize, appreciate, and understand the growing edges of our work, including the shadow elements of the institutions in which we work or with which we interface, and the increasing hype and commercialization of mindfulness? What are the ethical challenges that we may be facing, either now or in the future? What about our own personal stress and stressors, and our own pain and suffering? These are questions that admit to deep inquiry, insight, and healing in community.
Please note that all participants will be asked to join in daily work meditation to help run the retreat. Single rooms will be offered on a first-come, first serve basis. Please disregard the information about scholarships and teacher dana on the registration page as they do not apply to this retreat.
