This program is closed for 2022. It will run again in the fall of 2023. For more information, go to Soulmaking Dharma.
Growing out of an understanding of the Buddha’s teachings of emptiness, as well as the practices of mindfulness, metta, and samatha, soulmaking practices open our senses of sacredness and meaningful participation in the cosmos.
Through wisely discerning explorations of our ways of looking, of imagination, and of the movements of desire, we liberate beauty, discovery, and creativity, and extend our ranges of experience, insight, and freedom.
For meditators who have already begun to explore Soulmaking Dharma through the online Foundations program, this residential program offers an opportunity to consolidate their practice and understanding as well as to receive new teachings, and extend their explorations.
This program will include sitting, walking and other moving meditations; teachings; small groups and individual meetings; Q and A; and some relational and group practices. This program will be mostly held in silence but there will be some optional times for informal non-silent spaces.
