This retreat is for those who have interest in accessing their inherent silence and stillness despite the chaos of the world. As we are nature, how can we live as nature? How can we attend to the cries of the world in the midst of daily living? We will use spiritual poetry and periods of silence and meditation to help bring an experience of peace and contemplation.
While the dharma may support us in deconstructing oppressive social structures, this retreat is not an offering to rectify social injustices. Instead, the retreat is structured to gradually deepen your embodied understanding of your own life and how you might engage the world from that understanding.
Noble silence will be observed following each evening session through breakfast the following morning.
